In the palm oil-scented villages of Nigeria, our client Marcus Adebayo’s small processing mill once roared day and night—a costly toll paid to diesel generators. The deafening noise not only disturbed residents but, more alarmingly, devoured profits through ever-mounting diesel bills. "Each drop of palm oil produced consumed a significant portion of profits for that roaring beast," he recalled with a bitter smile.
